In order to staple the output, you must make some changes on your computer.


For a MAC, you have to:

  • Go to System Preferences->Printers & Scanners
  • Select your copier then choose Options and supplies
  • Select Options
  • Select Finisher in Output Tray Options
  • Now choose to print your document
  • (in Chrome) Open Print using system dialog
  • Select your copier at the top
  • Click the dropdown to change from Layout to Printer Features
  • Change Output to Finisher Upper Tray
  • Change Staple setting
  • Print


For Windows 8, you have to:

  • Go to Devices and Printers (Printers & Scanners)
  • Right click on the copier and choose Printer Properties
  • Open the Settings tab on the top right
  • Change the Staple Module setting to 1 staple
  • Now choose to print your document
  • (in Chrome) Open Print using system dialog
  • (in Chrome) Select Preferences
  • Change the staple option
  • Print


For Windows 10, you have to:

  • Go to Printers & Scanners
  • Double click on the copier and choose Manage
  • Click Printer Properties
  • Open the Settings tab on the top right
  • Change the Staple Module setting to 1 staple
  • Now choose to print your document
  • (in Chrome) Open Print using system dialog
  • (in Chrome) Select Preferences
  • Change the staple option
  • Print
